Abstract	Gastric-type mucinous carcinoma is a subtype of adenocarcinoma of the uterine cervix whose differentiation is characterized by cytoplasmic pyloric gland mucins. In the stomach, adenocarcinoma may occasionally show foetal gut differentiation. However, such retro-differentiation is rarely reported in cervical gastric-type mucinous carcinoma. Herein, we present a case of gastric-type mucinous carcinoma with a primitive enterocyte phenotype whose clear cell morphology mimicked clear cell carcinoma (CCC) in its preoperative biopsy.
