Summary: | The relationship between research and practice is challenging yet important. Many teachers feel that research is too difficult to access and read, too theoretical and not applicable to their daily work or needs, and too time-consuming. However, research-informed pedagogy can help teachers enhance their practice. Health and physical education scholars continue to conduct and share research locally, nationally and internationally as part of their work and their passion for education, while acknowledging that transforming theory into practice is challenging. Here, research-informed teaching tips for health educators are presented. |
