Analysis of failure of TK81/82/S02 valve actuators and recommendations concerning the possibility of elimination of breaks of valve spindles

Description
Summary:We experimentally investigate the causes of failures of valve actuators and, on the basis of the accumulated experimental data, construct a scheme of the process leading to the fracture of valve rods. We also give some recommendations concerning the possibility of elimination of breaks of valve spindles. Spindle materials studied: X22CrNi17 and 14Kh17N2 steels.
