Summary: | The May/June edition includes several articles about increasing public access to nature, especially for disadvantaged communities. In the same issue, you have a page about products for trail running that, among other items, includes a $60 pair of compression socks. The contradiction amid your journalism is amazing. The environmental movement is accused of being elitist and insensitive to people at the low end of the economic order. Despite this issue being raised often, Sierra magazine seems to simply not get it. Either ensure that your product reviews match your mission, or do away with them altogether. |
