Summary: | The aim of this paper is to present the differences in perception shown by informants, through a systematic analysis of surface melodies in yes/no questions. To carry out this research, a quiz was prepared with both natural and resynthesized sentences. From a methodological point, we explain how these resynthesized sentences were obtained using natural phrases. Moreover, comparing the melodies produced in Basque, we have also analyzed the differences found in usage according to the models of completion these speakers show in Spanish. Finally, conclusions are classified into three domains and educational implications that derive from this experiment are shown. Adapted from the source document |
