Overton during the course of my Ph.D. work (papers 1-3), Thereafter several lines of research were developed including the systematic examination of tetranortriterpenoids from the Meliaceae family, diterpenoids from Erythroxylon monogynum and E. australe, natural products from African and Indian medicinal plants and terpenoids from the Hepaticae (liverworts). It is convenient to classify the results under five headings - (i) Tetranortriterpenoids and Related Compounds, (ii) Diterpenoids, (iii) Sesquiterpenoids, (iv) Other Natural Products, (v) Physical Methods. |
