Summary:This research was carried out in the valley of the Yazılıkaya village belonging to Han district, which is about 80 km southeast of the Eskişehir province. 1130 plant specimens were collected from the area between March 2009 and November 2010. Identification of the specimens revealed the presence of 477 taxa belonging to 277 genera in 75 families. Cryptogamae is 1 taxa, Spermatophyta is 476 taxa (Gymnospermae is 6 taxa and Angiospermae is 470 taxa). The number of endemic taxa in the study area is 70 (14.68%). As a result of study, the first three families with the highest number of taxa were found to be Asteraceae (54 taxa), Lamiaceae (41 taxa) and Fabaceae (40 taxa). The distribution of phytogeographic elements are as follows: Irano-Turanian elements are 86 taxa (18.03%), Mediterranean elements are 59 taxa (12.37%), Euro-Siberian elements are 55 taxa (11.53%), widespread and other which their regions unrecognized are 277 taxa (58.07%).
