Summary:The chromatographic separation of organic solvent extracts of liverwort led to the isolation of six compounds. 2-Chromenone (1), 3, 4-dihydroxy-cinnamic acid (2), 3, 3', 4', 5, 7-pentahydroxy-2-phenylchromen-4-one (3), kaemperol-3-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranoside (4), 3-[[3-(3,4-Dihydroxyphenyl)-1-oxo-2-propenyl]oxy]-1, 4, 5-trihydroxycyclohexane carboxylic acid (5) and quercetin-3-O-rutinoside (6) were isolated from the methanolic extracts of the all part of Climacium dendroides. Their structure were established by chemical and spectroscopic methods. All compounds were isolated for the first time from this plant Climacium dendroides. 곧은 나무이끼의 전초에서 물질을 분리 및 동정하기 위해 곧은 나무이끼의 MeOH 추출물을 $CHCl_3$, EtOAc 및 BuOH로 용매 분획하였다. $CHCl_3$ 분획으로부터 2-chromenone(coumarin)을 분리 하였고 EtOAc 분획에서 3,4-dihydroxy-cinnamic acid (caffeic acid), 3,3',4',5,7-pentahydroxy-2-phenyl-chromen-4-one (quercetin)과 kaemperol-3-O-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranoside(astragalin)을 분리하였다. BuOH 분획으로부터 3-[[3-(3,4-Dihydr oxyphenyi)-1-oxo-2-propenyl]oxy]-1,4,5-trihydroxycyclohexanecarboxylic acid(chlorogenic acid)와 quercetin-3-O-rutinoside(rutin)를 분리하여 IR, UV, Mass, NMR과 이화학적인 방법으로 그 구조를 규명하였다. 곧은 나무이끼에서 이 물질들이 분리된 것은 처음으로 보고되는 것이다.
