Summary:Two new genera are established: Anisophyllodes, type species A. pipromorphae, n. sp. from Pipromorpha oleaginea (Tyrannidae) from Trinidad and Ptyctophyllodes, type species Proctophyllodes (Pterodectes) trogonis Trouessart, 1885 from Trogon curucui and T. collaris (Trogonidae) from South America. Polymorphic development of the males, restricted to the terminal hysterosomae, is described.
