Summary: | This paper presents a factor reliability and validity study on an attitude scale. After expert content validation, an attitude scale regarding the use of ICT in teaching was applied to a representative sample of teachers at the University of Salamanca (N=2329; n=161). Individual analysis of items was made based on the results obtained. Then a reliability test (Cronbach's alpha) was carried out to show the internal consistency of the survey. Finally, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis was applied to prove its structural soundness and unifactoriality. The final result is a Likert-type scale made up of 15 items. In conclusion, this paper aims to provide the scientific community with a tool of adequate psychometric properties which gives added pedagogical value to the introduction of ICT in university teaching. |
