Description
Summary:Summary form only given, as follows. As part of the review process for this Workshop, every paper was sent to practitioner and academic reviewers. The reviews showed striking differences between practitioners and academics. Papers that practitioners liked, the academics often rated poorly. Papers rated well by academics, the practitioners often rated poorly. The four panelists cross over between applied work and applied and more theoretical research. The panel discussion will start as a reaction to Hung Quoc Nguyen's keynote address and gradually morph into a discussion of the types of research needed to yield useful insights into the role of testing in the evolution of Web based applications.
