Summary: | A Wide-band Ku-band helix space travelling wave tube is designed in this paper. It is achieved by using the two-anode electron gun, the helix with pitch gradient technology and a High Efficiency five-stage multistage depressed collector. In the simulation results, output power is more than 230W,saturated gain is above 51.6dB and electronic efficiency is better than 35.1%. The collector efficiency exceed 83.13%. The total efficiency of the actual tube exceed 70.5%. |
