Description
Summary:This paper presents the design of an all-angular momentum (AAM) antenna array system to radiate OAM beams with combined modes. The antenna array has four elements which are sequentially rotated to set the phase difference between them. The individual element radiates a fourth-order left-hand circular polarized (LHCP) OAM beam which is combined with the angular momentum of the array. The orthogonality property of the OAM beam makes different modes to be transmitted independently along the same channel at a given frequency. The antenna resonates in the frequency range of 5.12GHz with a narrow band and is highly suitable for modes multiplexing of different data streams in high resolution and computational imaging with greater channel capacity and spectral efficiency.
