Description
Summary:Optoelectronic vibration sensors represent an innovative solution in the field of remote vibration diagnostics. In this work, the sensor is developed that for vibration diagnostics and obtaining in real time the vibration parameters of a remote object, i.e., vibration displacement, vibration velocity and vibration acceleration. A distinctive feature of the proposed technique is the autodyne effect in diode lasers, which allows to generate a probe signal and detect a vibration signal using a single optoelectronic device, a laser diode. An experimental realization of the sensor allowed the vibration parameter measurement with a relative error of 10% at distances up to 500 mm and the vibration frequency range from 20 to 500 Hz.
