Description
Summary:A floating thin film fabrication technique is applied to fabricate a large area up to the size of a cm scale (length: 21-25 cm, width: 2.1 cm) by dropping 15 -20 of organic molecule solution. This thin film deposition technique not only minimizes the wastage of material and cost but also provides an edge on oriented thin film which is suitable for planer devices like organic FETs. The oriented thin film shows high charge carrier transport up to 0.001 to >12 Cm 2 /Vs based on conjugated polymer backbone structure and more than amorphous Si. In organic semiconductors, organic molecules show high performance over the Conjugated polymer but are challenging to make at a large scale by solution process methods. This technique produces the polymer and organic molecules film at large-area for achieving high-efficiency organic FET.
