Description
Summary:This study aimed to evaluate macro and microscopic results after PRP application in bone critical defects of 6.0mm in diameter realized in cavarial of twenty-four young isogenic mice C57BL/6. Control group didn't receive treatment and in the treated group it was deposited 50.0µL of plasma gel containing 1.0 x [10.sup.9] platelets in the defects. It was found that autologous PRP gel contributed positively to the bone repair process, especially in initial phase. Key words: autologous platelet gel, bone repair, growth factors.
