Summary: | In this paper, Cetesb's the methodology is adopted to analyze the emissions of main pollutants from vehicles using alcohol and gasoline in the city of Maringa in the year of 2005. The considered fleet is constituted by the registered vehicles in the cadastre of Detran-PR with ear-model equal or superior to 1980. The average emission factors from Cetesb had been corrected by deterioration factors from Cetesb and from AP42. The AP42's deterioration factors had shown to be more adequate to represent the increase in the emissions of the vehicles, mainly for new vehicles. It was observed that the considered fleet presents a higher concentration of more recent vehicles almost the gasoline and the disappearance of the vehicles the alcohol. It was observed fleet with year-model lower then 1988, representing only 9.90% of the considered fleet, contributed almost with 35% of the emissions of CO, 28% of the emissions of HC and 17% of the emissions of NOx in the case of the vehicles the gasoline. Este artigo adotou a metodologia da Cetesb para analisar as emissoes dos principais poluentes dos veiculos a alcool e a gasolina na cidade de Maringa, Estado do Parana, no ano de 2005. A frota considerada e constituida pelos veiculos cadastrados no Detran-PR com ano/modelo igual ou superior a 1980. Os fatores medios de emissao da Cetesb foram corrigidos pelos fatores de deterioracao da Cetesb e do AP42. Os fatores de deterioracao do AP-42 se mostraram mais adequados para representar o aumento nas emissoes dos veiculos, principalmente para veiculos mais novos. A frota considerada apresentou maior concentracao de veiculos mais recentes a gasolina e o quase desaparecimento dos veiculos a alcool. Veiculos com ano/modelo inferior a 1988, representando apenas 9,90% da frota considerada, contribuiram com quase 35% das emissoes de CO, 28% das emissoes de HC e 17% das emissoes de NOx no caso dos veiculos a gasolina.
