Summary: | In this article, two tarikatname texts, " Tarįkat-nāme-i įn-est " (GJ), which was purchased from Kashgar by Gunnar Jarring in 1930 and donated to the Lund University Library in Sweden, and " Ṭarįkat-nāme bu turur" (HK), which is in a mecmu in Hüseyin Kaba's personal library, are analysed. Firstly, based on the HK copy, the text was written in transcription alphabet and compared with the copy in the Gunnar Jarring Collection and the edition-critical text was created. The orthography, phonology and morphology features of the text, which has the characteristics of Chagatai Turkic and was copied in the 19th century, were determined. In the conclusion section, the data obtained from the study were presented and a facsimile edition of the manuscript was added at the end of the study. |
