Description
Summary:The residual foreign objects on the steam generator tube sheet of a nuclear power plant were analyzed and evaluated by ARCHARD wear physical model and impact energy calculation method for collision analysis. Results showed that if the conservative assumption was that the foreign objects resulted in a wear reduction of 20% of the wall thickness of the tube, the heat transfer tube could still work safely for at least 3 years with effective full power under extreme conditions. In addition, the indentation formed by the collision from the foreign objects on the tube was only 0.025% of the wall thickness, and the impact energy of the foreign objects was low enough,so the impact of the foreign objects on the tube could be ignored.
