Measurement of atmospheric emissions in open-pit furnaces in the municipality of Ocaña, Norte de Santander

A list was made of the brick companies dedicated to the production of ceramic materials in the municipality of Ocaña, identifying the type of kiln, capacity and production. Then a sample of seven brick companies was selected, to which an isokinetic sampling was carried out, where the concentration of emissions regulated by resolution 909 of June 2008 (percentages of oxygen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and oxide of nitrogen), finally an analysis is made of compliance with the requirements established in the current environmental regulations for emission by fixed sources in the brick kilns to the aforementioned kilns, which establishes that the selected companies comply with the requirements established in the regulations Colombian environmental.
