Summary:This research detects the existence of the face in the digital images by using an Elman network, after a number of stages where at first it converts the image to the gray level and then segmentation of image which is based on the characteristics of the skin algorithm for segmenting the skin by extracting the properties of human skin using amulti-colored skin bilateral algorithm and then entering the data to a neural network. The algorithm was applied to a number of different models and proved to be efficient and accurate in detection reaches 90% depending on the results .
