Summary:We are in a new stage of industrialization. Following the analysis of several definitions and interpretations, Smart Manufacturing, a term used in the USA for the next stage of industrialization, mainly refers to the use of information and technological communication to which is added the ability to analyze massive amounts of data in order to improve manufacturing processes and processes throughout the value chain. Following the concept of Industry 4.0, first mentioned by Germany in 2011, the Netherlands reacted with its own concept called Smart Industry, adapted to the strategy and vision from an industrial perspective and In turn, China has a Master Industrial Plan called "Made in China 2025" and is in fact the national strategic plan to transform the country into a superpower in terms of technology and manufacturing. This industrial policy aims to achieve economic supremacy and global recognition.
