| Summary: | The aim of this article is to present a proposal for an analytical model of sports clubs, the foundation of which is a description of the strategy for overcoming problems and stabilizing the organization’s activities. The authors take their own research projects as a basis for consideration, during which they looked at the activities of clubs experiencing crises of various origins in the years 1989–2014. The considerations made are not focused on the location of the above-mentioned entities on the scale of effectiveness and professionalism, referring either to purely sporting or economic effects of their functioning, but on the description and role of social actors in sports organizations, the choice of strategy or lack of it. The main problems faced by sports clubs in crises of various nature were also indicated. |
