We compute the class W n− 4 ℳ 0 . n ℝ ¯ , which is Poincaré dual to the first Stiefel–Whitney class for the variety ℳ 0 . n ℝ ¯ in terms of the natural cell decomposition of ℳ 0 . n ℝ ¯ .
