Summary: | A method is proposed for obtaining ^sup 10^Be from spent fast-reactor control rods. The method is characterized by the fact that it is inexpensive and it can combine the separation of ^sup 10^Be with the recovery of expensive ^sup 10^B. The method has been tested on BN-600 spent control rods.
