Description
Summary:Evaluate the risk brought by the traditional practice in the evolution of the foreign bodies of the aesophagus. 30 years old male with migration from the oesophagus of a fish bone in soft tissue of the neck, which could have been favored by the traditional practice. The diagnosis of migration was suspected when a laterocervical mass appeared after a traditional processing. The rigid aesophagoscopy was negative and the scanner allowed to identify the foreign body in an extraluminal location. It was removed by cervicotomy. Postoperative was uneventful.
