Summary:	The immunological status was assessed in 100 patients with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus before and after treatment in sanatorium. The treatment consisted of diet 9a, adequate insulin-therapy, therapeutic exercises, mineral water (drinking and baths), physiotherapy, peloids. Immunological assessment of the treatment effects showed normalization of cellular immunity, enhancement of phagocytosis, positive changes in humoral immunity.
