Summary:	It has been demonstrated that dimethpramide exerted an adverse effect on the sexual glands of female rats. It provoked an inhibition of ovarian function (derangement of cycling rhythmicity, the loss of individual cycle stages) and depletion of energy resources of the uterus (drop of glycogen content). The reduction of the gonadotropic activity of the pituitary was also observed.
