Summary:	Diagnostics and original operative technique of ear canal abnormalities as well as results in the treatment of 23 patients have been presented. In 5 patients with congenital ear canal stenosis conventional surgical ear canal dilatation was satisfactory and out of 18 patients with atresia in 16 of them described operation was successful. Obliteration reoccurred in 2 cases.
