Description
Summary:Nine swimmers and nine soccers have been studied by the mean of Frank lead vectorcardiographic system. According to classical criteria, both the two groups present similar marked left ventricular hypertrophy. Numerous indices suggest that right ventricular hypertrophy is also associated though more important for the swimmers. The assumption of volume overload because of special hemodynamic conditions during swimming is proposed.
