Description
Summary:The association between cutaneous and systemic leukocytoclastic vasculitis and myeloproliferative and lymphoproliferative malignancies has been reported. We describe a patient who developed recurrent episodes of leukocytoclastic vasculitis 10 months before the diagnosis of acute myelomonocytic leukemia. To our knowledge, this is the first documented case of leukocytoclastic vasculitis presenting as the initial manifestation of acute myelomonocytic leukemia, a subtype of acute myelogenous leukemia.
