Description
Summary:Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (Darrier-Ferrand sarcoma, DFSP) is an uncommon tumor. This sarcoma has a tendency to local recurrence, requiring a wide surgical resection. We report herein two cases of patients presenting with recurrent dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans after several surgical resections. A wide surgical resection with guided tissue regenaration has been performed in one case, whereas the second case required a skin graft. Despite a short follow-up, our aim was to highlight the local aggressiveness of the DFSP and point out its therapeutic challenge, usually requiring a wide and aggressive surgery.
