Description
Summary:Uranium Oxide In article number 2307684, Vojtech Kundrat, Reshef Tenne, and co‐workers encapsulated Urania (WO2) in the hollow core of multiwall WS2 nanotubes by heating uranyl nitrate hexahydrate and nanotubes at 60 °C, and subsequent annealing at high temperatures. This process does not require any solvent and hence is environmentally more friendly than the current processing of highly‐radioactive spent fuel of nuclear reactors and for its long term storage.
