40 Gb/s NRZ Wavelength Conversion with 2R and 3R Regeneration

Newly developed NRZ 2R and 3R wavelength converters were reviewed. 40 Gb/s regeneration performances of XGM cancelled SOA-MZI 2R wavelength converter and 3R wavelength converter based on EAM and SOA-DI are discussed.
