Description
Summary:The article presents the concepts of the use of the Stirling engine cooperating with the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) in the processing of waste heat energy. The research was carried out on a mathematical model consisting of DFIG and Striling engine. The results of simulation studies presented in the article confirm the effectiveness of this solution. Advantages of DFIG makes this solution is more efficient and cost competitive than systems using a synchronous machine.
