Description
Summary:A number of pathologies associated with improper blood flow and local metabolic disorders in human organism are accompanied by a local temperature decrease in deep layers of organism. Radiothermometry, which is based on the measurement of biological tissues electromagnetic fields, can be one of the methods of detection of such pathologies. The paper presents a model of the temperature distribution in the biological tissue in case of low temperature area. The introduced mathematical model of distribution of heat radiation in a biological environment allows determining conditions of registration of thermal anomalies in the human body. The results of the calculation of the thermal radiation power on the skin surface are presented in the work and principal possibility of determining the temperature and the depth of the temperature anomaly source using multi-frequency microwave radiometry are shown. Technical problem of realization of this method is complication of matching the receiving antenna to the biological object for the simultaneous detection of radiation at different frequencies.
