Summary: | Information technology (IT) is seen as a key source of productivity improvement in mines. Integrated data can create additional value from independent data source and produce previously unavailable insight or new knowledge. This paper briefly introduces the skill set needed for data integrated from multiple source systems throughout the mining value chain. The discussion begins by introducing a mining value chain; these are management tools used to visualize the area where data integration can be used to create synergies between different mining sub-systems; then the formal technical procedure used to link data to create information for data integration based on data warehouse are introduced in detail, illumination of its main framework and detailed discussion of its certain key points of the subsystem such as data acquisition system, central database system, access tools was presented. |
