Summary:To solve PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) hardware devices shortage problem in teaching and research, the PLC multimedia software was designed and implemented. It was achieved to simulate the PLC programming, running and simulating, and to monitor the behavior of the system, based on Borland C++ Builder, object-oriented technology and multithread technology under Windows situation. The thesis focused on multithread technology application in monitoring module and realization of saving and opening programs. A kind of coding rule was proposed to express controls, to save programs with notepad format. It has friendly user interface, easy operation, which facilitates PLC teaching and off-line debugging, also has reference value for designing other similar systems.
