Description
Summary:Transformer oil is a very complex compound. Its temperature rise pattern is strongly dependent on its quality. Differently aged and stressed transformer oil has different temperature rise pattern. In this work, we try to measure the quality of transformer oil based on the temperature rise pattern of oil samples. A model has been developed to study the thermal behavior of different transformer oil samples collecting from different condition state transformers. The temperature rise pattern has been compared with other parameters like break down voltage(BDV), ultra-violate visual (UV-VIS) spectrophotometer spectrum to investigate the health condition of the transformers.
