Description
Summary:MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) which means maximizing the power extracted, is a key factor that has critical role in improving wind system performance. Wind systems with outputs variables because their input quantities are variable, why an MPPT algorithm that follows the maximum performance is required. Indeed, the performance of a wind turbine depends primarily on three parameters: wind power, curve power turbine and the generator's ability respond to wind fluctuations. This article is dedicated to the study of a wind MPPT system characteristic P= f (Ω). To do this, double feed asynchronous generator is modeled and NPC three level converter. Thereafter, explaining the different strategies maximizing power extracted.
