Thermionic electron guns for high-power transit-type sources of microwave radiation
We developed a three-electrode electron-optic system of the magnetron-injection type with a strong magnetic guide, which formed a tubular flow of electrons 20 mm in diameter with energy of 350 keV, current of 400 A at pulse duration of 10 /spl mu/s.
