Summary: | The advantages of application compressed air energy storage as a method of accumulating electrical energy include high maneuverability and operation in wide temperature and pressure ranges. An experimental unit of a small-scale compressed air energy storage was developed. The prototype was tested for strength, tightness, and performance using compressed air. As a result of the Aspen HYSYS and Ansys simulations, the following results were obtained: changes in pressure, temperature and velocity profile inside the air turbine. |
