Description
Summary:The research aims to describe the practical utilization of the Cake app within PALP, elucidate the gains observed in students' speaking skills through its medium, and identify the challenges encountered by both students and mentors while employing the app as a learning aid. This qualitative descriptive research involved six PALP participants who willingly volunteered for the study. Data collection methods included interviews and documentations, which were analyzed through data logging, anecdotes, vignettes, and data coding processes. The study's findings indicate that the Cake app plays a crucial role in facilitating students' language development by enhancing their speaking skills and fostering a keen interest in learning. As mobile learning continues to evolve, the Cake app stands as a promising asset to enrich language education and cultivate a dynamic and interactive learning environment for language learners.
