Description
Summary:The integration of renewable energy sources into grids necessitates the development of smart grids. Smart devices that support two-way communication enhance energy management. This research proposes a model for decision making through a multi-criteria decision analysis framework. It considers the human-oriented perspective to provide an interface with a smart device prior to communication with the energy market aggregator. In this study, The Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) is adopted for decision-making optimization considering various criteria. A coherent study is conducted to evaluate the decision criteria. The implications of this research facilitate the design of an algorithm that translates the tangible outcomes of this work to the machine and the aggregator of the energy market for an energy management scheduling framework.
