Description
Summary:In this study, the use of the faster than nyquist (FTN) transmision method, which has spectral efficiency in the terahertz communication band and is proposed to provide transmission at high data rates, together with the harmonic receiver is investigated. It is aimed to reduce the negative effect of inter-symbol interference that occurs as a result of the implementation of FTN transmission by benefiting from the spectrum widening feature of the harmonic receiver, and the results of normal modulation and harmonic modulation are compared in terms of Eye SNR and Q-Factor by making eye diagram meauserements in MATLAB. As a result of the comparison, it is shown that the harmonic receiver in certain value range of the modeled FTN Factor parameter improves the system performance.
