Summary:Octahydroxy fullerene C60(OH)8 (see picture) is among the isomerically pure fullerenols with two to eight OH groups that were prepared by selective transformation of tert‐butylperoxo groups of fullerene mixed peroxides. Since C60(OH)8 has all OH groups on the same hemisphere, it is amphiphilic and forms stable spherical aggregates in water.
