Summary: | Insulators are important parts in power system, the property of insulator is good or bad will directly influence the operation of power system. Under the action of natural environment and electric field with high strength, electrical property and mechanical property of the insulators will decrease, as the ser vice year of the insulator increasing. So how to find the insulator with defect and replace it with a good insulator is important to ensure security operation of the power system. In this paper, electrical porcelain insulators used in 110kV power transmission line were analyzed, electric field around insulators with different states through Maxwell soft ware. The results show that: Through the regularities of electric field distributed around the insulators, we can estimate the properties of them. |
