Summary: | Inefficient water usage during irrigation scheduling is a common crisis in agricultural sector. This crisis mostly occurs in time-controlled irrigation systems where timer will still turn on the sprinkler even on raining day. This research is proposed to overcome the mentioned crisis where the sprinkler is controlled by soil moisture sensor. In addition, this intelligence irrigation system also incorporated solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Engineering Workbench (LabVIEW) software. Consequently, the system can operate independently and the performance of the irrigation system can be monitored remotely. |
