Summary:As a result of the Bologna Accord and the creation of a European area of higher education, computers and other information technologies have been increasingly used in academic studies with the aim of improving the performance of students. This paper presents the results of a teaching experience using mobile phones and gamification services in engineering degrees as a tool for leveraging the comprehension of mathematical concepts.
