Description
Summary:This paper focuses on the design of a hybrid renewable power system for supplying a load in remote areas. We considered a real study to use photovoltaic (PV) even we estimate everything to apply this study The analysis of the designed system is based on using Hybrid Optimization Model for Electric Renewable (HOMER) software. The results show that using Photovoltaic / Diesel / Battery system is the most optimal method. A comparison is carried out between different optimization systems of scenarios. operated only by diesel have the most Net Present Cost (NPC) and high greenhouse gas emissions. A sensitivity analysis is carried out to explore how variations of solar radiation, diesel price can affect the system. The results showed that when the renewable resource increases, the capacity of renewable component decreases, leading ultimately to a decrease in the net present cost.
